Protecting Rural Public Schools

According to the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics, Texas has more than 2,000 campuses classified as being in rural areas, more than any other state in the U.S.

In recent years, our public schools have faced numerous challenges that not only threaten the quality of education our children receive, but the very existence of our rural communities. We are dedicated to protecting and strengthening our public schools and ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality education, regardless of their zip code.

By advocating for increased funding, resources, and support for rural education, we can provide our students with the tools they need to thrive. From small class sizes to personalized instruction, rural public schools offer a unique learning environment that we must continue to invest in and support.

Protecting our Border

As reported by the Pew Research Center, there are approximately 1.9 million illegal immigrants in Texas (as of 2021).

Illegal immigration poses serious challenges to our nation's security, economy, and sovereignty. As proud Texans, we believe in the importance of enforcing our immigration laws and protecting our borders from unauthorized entry. Illegal immigration has extreme economic implications, affecting job opportunities, wages, and our health care and law enforcement resources. We must prioritize the needs of American citizens and legal residents, ensuring they have access to employment opportunities and essential services. We are dedicated to working with policymakers, law enforcement agencies, and community leaders to develop and implement effective solutions to combat illegal immigration.

Access to Broadband

Experts believe that over 9 million Texas residents do not have access to broadband internet.

In today’s interconnected world, reliable internet access is not just a luxury, it’s a necessity for economic growth, educational advancement, and community development. Yet, many rural communities don’t have access to reliable broadband internet, leaving them at a disadvantage in the digital age. We understand the importance of closing this gap and ensuring that every community has access to internet service. We are dedicated to advocating for policies and initiatives that expand broadband infrastructure to every corner of Texas.
